SUMMERTIME
What a wonderful time to enjoy our children, family, and hopefully, a slower pace!
By the end of the school year students have reached their learning goals. As parents it is important that you keep those brains active throughout the summer months. The internet is a an incredible resource for practice, learning and fun activities. You just need to spend a little time searching and you can find numerable ideas for crafts, recipes, and games. Other easy ideas are: join the summer reading program at the library or create your own reading program at home and use rewards that your child enjoys; play rhyming games; sing songs and make up new verses to old favorites; keep a summer scrapbook or journal; write letters to friends, family, or teachers; paint and play with playdough outdoors. Be creative!
Prayers for happy, safe summer!
God Bless
