SCIENCE NEWS
To begin the year the topic for study in science will be Senses. The activities will be based on Battle Creek Math and Science Center kits. The sense of sight is what we are covering first. Students keep journals and these stay in the classroom until the end of the unit. Last week we learned about labeling. The students have really caught on to the idea of labels and are finding new uses for them every day.
Welcome to the new school year! We are blessed to have your children as our students this year.
In K-2 each morning begins with God's word and then Brain Gym which is a series of simple enjoyable movements that we use with students to enhance their experience of whole brain learning.
God Creates is the religion topic for the beginning of this year. In class the students are making pages for a class book 'God Is Good'.
