PRESCHOOL

REGISTRATION FOR 2010-2011:
There are a few openings for new students for the coming school year. Please see Mrs. Elston or Mrs. Hatch, or call the school office with any questions or to request a registration packet.

MUSIC

Thank you, bands, for playing during closing chapel on June 4. Incoming fifth graders, the best selection for used band instruments is during June & July. Parents, please see me if you need information on obtaining an instrument for your child. I'm happy to help!

We are pleased to offer two 45-minute general music classes per week for grades K-2 and 3-5, as well as a 30-minute class for grades 6-8. We are also offering two levels of band instruction, in this second year of our band program. Beginning band meets on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Advanced band meets Mondays through Thursdays. Following is our instrumentation this year: 3 flutes, 2 clarinets, 1 saxophone, 1 coronet and 1 trombone.

Beth Elston holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Lutheran Teacher Diploma from Concordia University, Ann Arbor, MI. She also earned an Elementary Endorsement through graduate work at Saginaw Valley State University.
