Mrs. Elston holds a B.A. and a Lutheran Teacher Diploma from Concordia University, Ann Arbor, MI. She also earned an Elementary Endorsement through graduate work at SVSU.
Ms. Kunisch graduated from USA High School in Sebewaing. Since then she has worked for Active Industries in Sebewaing, Thrivent Financial, Mutual Savings, and Independent Bank.
Mrs. Turner has a degree in elementary education with an emphasis in art. She and her husband Casey, have 3 children and reside in Bay Port. The Turner family attends Elkton Missionary church.
Mr. Faupel holds a B.A. in Elementary Education from Saginaw Valley State University, with endorsements in Social Studies, Science, and Mathematics. He has been teaching at Cross Lutheran School since 2010.
Mr. Starks received a B.A. from Texas Tech University in Music Education with an endorsement in History. He has over 30 years teaching experience. He has been teaching at Cross since 2020.
Ms. Gebauer holds a B.A. in Elementary Education and a M.A. of Education with a concentration in secondary education with an English focus from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. She currently lives in Bad Axe and attends and serves at Bad Axe Free Methodist Church.
Mrs. Shupe received her degree from Ferris State University with a B.A. in Elementary Education and an associates in Early Childhood Development. Mrs. Shupe has three children , and their family attends Pigeon River Mennonite Church.
Mr. Wright received his teaching degree from Central Michigan University. He was a teacher and a coach at Owendale-Gagetown for 32 years. He loves hunting, fishing and anything sports related. He lives in Cass City with his wife Rhonda and son Jacob.
Mrs. Eberly received her BA in Music Education and Music Ministry from Bluffton University in Ohio. She taught Music and Pre-K for 7 years at Western Oklahoma Christian School. She and her husband have 2 girls.
Ms. Moore graduated from Southfield High School in Southfield, Michigan. Since then she has worked as a safety and compliance manager for a trucking firm and managed a floor covering business.
Mrs. Maust received her teaching degree and masters degree from Saginaw Valley State University and has taught 1st-3rd grades throughout the past 6 years. She lives in the Bay Port area with her husband and enjoys reading, playing piano, and riding four-wheelers around the farm.
